Soccer Game Preview: Cloverdale vs. Kelseyville

The Cloverdale Eagles will head out to face off against the Kelseyville Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cloverdale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Cloverdale is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against St. Helena on Thursday. Cloverdale and St. Helena finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Kelseyville's offense. They lost 6-0 to Sonoma Academy on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Kelseyville's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. Cloverdale's draw makes their record 3-5-1 this season.

Cloverdale came up short against Kelseyville when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Cloverdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
