Softball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Central City Wildcats.

Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Central City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Danville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 loss against New London on the 23rd. Central City has also already played their next game (against Calamus-Wheatland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
