Soccer Game Preview: Jewish Community vs. California Crosspoint

The Jewish Community Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the California Crosspoint Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Jewish Community is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: San Francisco Waldorf, who was ranked 11th at the time (Jewish Community was ranked 14th). Wolves lost 3-0 to the Wolverines last Thursday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Jewish Community's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, California Crosspoint was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Holy Names, falling 4-0.

California Crosspoint's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Jewish Community, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-3.

Jewish Community took their win against California Crosspoint in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 4-1 score. In that contest, Wolves amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
