Pepperell's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Model on Friday. The Dragons came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 7-4. This was a revenge game for the Dragons: when they faced off against the Blue Devils last Tuesday, they had to take a 8-7 loss.

Sam Ross spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Madoc Garcia, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Cooper Middleton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Pepperell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matchups.

Pepperell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Model, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 21-2.
