The Towanda Black Knights lost against the Hughesville Spartans back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Towanda was beaten by the Spartans 63-4. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Towanda has scored all season.

Hughesville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Vivian Draper, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Smith, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

Towanda now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Hughesville, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Towanda will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hughesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
