Soccer Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Canyon Cowboys. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one goal.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-2.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Bishop Alemany on the 30th. As for Canyon, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Valencia at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Canyon's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
