Basketball Recap: Rowland Extends Winning Streak to Four

Rowland had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Covina Colts 58-32. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Rowland to victory were Adrienne Bausley and Isabella Tran. Bausley posted 18 points in addition to five assists and five steals, while Tran scored 19 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Bausley's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Lily Ding was another key player, putting up four points.

Rowland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Covina, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-17.

Rowland will square off against Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Jillian Tung and Bausley. As for Covina, they will take on West Covina at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
