Recap: Olympian Eagles vs. Eastlake Titans
The Olympian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastlake. Olympian found out winning isn't easy when you make 11 fewer threes than your opponent.
Despite the loss, Olympian still got an impressive performance from Asia Darcuiel, who scored 19 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Darcuiel hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Lewis, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastlake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Helen Rosales, who scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals. It was the first time this season that Rosales scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada White, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Olympian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-14 record this season. As for Eastlake, the win got them back to even at 14-14.
Olympian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eastlake also has no future games currently scheduled.
