Recap: Southwestern Academy Sun vs. Mesrobian Bulldogs
This season hasn't been kind to the Southwestern Academy Sun, who are still winless after their fifth game. They had to suffer through a rough 46-3 loss at the hands of Mesrobian. Southwestern Academy lost against Mesrobian in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 66-18 score last time.
Adriana Gomez was Southwestern Academy's leading scorer, having posted two points.
Leean Chae held things down on the boards with 13 rebounds.
Southwestern Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.3 points per game. As for Mesrobian, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwestern Academy is on the road again on Thursday and play against Waverly at 6:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Mesrobian, they will take on Le Lycee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
