Southlands Christian skates past Magnolia Science Academy with ease

The Southlands Christian Eagles stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Magnolia Science Academy 56-18 on the road. Southlands Christian's win was all the more impressive since Magnolia Science Academy was averaging only 29.67 points allowed on the season.
Elvira Chavez Trujillo and Karla Villaverde certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Chavez Trujillo scored eight points, while Villaverde scored eight points. That was a full 44.4% of Magnolia Science Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Southlands Christian and bumps their season record up to 10-3. As for Magnolia Science Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Southlands Christian will be playing at home against Samueli Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Samueli Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Magnolia Science Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Avalon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
