Basketball Recap: Granada Victorious

Granada won the last time they faced Freedom and things went their way on Saturday too. The Matadors secured a 62-56 W over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Matadors.

Granada's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Freedom, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Granada will take on Dougherty Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freedom, they will square off against Mt. Eden at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons will be up against the Monarchs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.31 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
