Softball Recap: Franklin County Wins Going Away Against Commerce

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prince Avenue Christian, Franklin County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Commerce Tigers. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by eight runs or more this season.

The win got Franklin County back to even at 6-6. As for Commerce, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Franklin County and Commerce will both be playing Madison County the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
