Baseball Recap: River Ridge Takes a Loss

River Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Woodstock Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 on Tuesday.

River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Woodstock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat River Ridge by a score of 6-5 later that day.
