Montgomery and Redwood are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Montgomery Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Redwood Giants at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Montgomery is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 48-41 victory over Arcata.

Meanwhile, Redwood waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They strolled past the Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 63-45. That's two games straight that the Giants have won by exactly 18 points.

Redwood's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Montgomery, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Montgomery was taken down by Redwood 51-19 when the teams last played back in January. Can Montgomery avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
