Softball Recap: Bryan County Comes Up Short

Bryan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Screven County Gamecocks. That's two games in a row now that the Redskins have lost by just one run.

Bryan County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Screven County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Bryan County is taking a road trip to square off against Long County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Screven County, they will host Edmund Burke Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
