While Sheets Memorial Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They really took it to the Covenant Classical Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 79-52 victory. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sheets Memorial Christian was led to victory by Finn Everhart and Jude Howell. Everhart dropped a double-double with 32 points and 12 rebounds, while Howell shot 50% from the field en route to 21 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Everhart has scored at least a third of the Eagles' points. Another player making a difference was Karter Dykes, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

Sheets Memorial Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Covenant Classical's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Trent Foster, who scored 16 points, and Ian LeJeune, who put up 12 points along with six boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Knarr, who had eight points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals.

Sheets Memorial Christian's record now sits at 5-0. As for Covenant Classical, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Sheets Memorial Christian and Covenant Classical will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Eagles see the court they'll take on Hilltop Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Covenant Classical, their break will end when they face Providence Classical at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
