San Juan has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 6-1 to the Rio Vista Rams on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 0-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Rio Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

San Juan will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Vacaville Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Rio Vista will take on Mt. Diablo in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
