Soccer Recap: Taft Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Taft Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Templeton Eagles and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Jaycee Edgar, which was the first she's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Taft and nudges their season record down to 4-7-1. As for Templeton, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Taft face off against the McFarland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McFarland's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Templeton, they will host Mission College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
