Gregori proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 44) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Downey Knights 36-34. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguars sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Gregori's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makayla Tran, who posted nine points and five rebounds. What's more, Tran also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Audrey Pacheco, who put up six points.

Gregori smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive games.

Gregori's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-9. As for Downey, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Gregori didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-20 win against Modesto on the 7th. As for Downey, they have also already played their next matchup, a 39-31 victory against Turlock on the 6th.
