Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Oak Grove Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Jemez Valley Warrior, falling 63-25. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warrior this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-17 back in January.

Oak Grove Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Jemez Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Owls duke it out with the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jemez Valley, they will challenge Legacy Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Legacy Academy comes in on four and Jemez Valley on 11.
