Soccer Recap: Madera Comes Up Short

Madera was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edison Tigers. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Madera's loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for Edison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madera will welcome San Joaquin Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Edison, they will be playing at home against Torres at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
