Bella Calderon commands the offense for a Falcons win

Recap: Apostles Lutheran Falcons vs. Hillbrook Bears
On Tuesday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Apostles Lutheran made off with a 12-11 win over Hillbrook. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Apostles Lutheran.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Apostles Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bella Calderon, who scored two points along with 21 rebounds and four steals. Calderon is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Hally Zou was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine steals and five rebounds.
Apostles Lutheran's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Hillbrook, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Apostles Lutheran will head out on the road to face off against Kathleen MacDonald on Monday. Hillbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
