Baseball Preview: Wethersfield Eagles vs. Platt Panthers
The Wethersfield Eagles will head out to square off against the Platt Panthers at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Wethersfield came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Southington, falling 16-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since April 10, 2025.
