Preview: East Bakersfield vs. West
East Bakersfield is 9-1 against West since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The East Bakersfield Blades will look to defend their home pitch against the West Vikings at 6:00 p.m.
Last Monday, East Bakersfield kept a clean sheet against West. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The win was just what East Bakersfield needed coming off of a 4-0 defeat in their prior game.
They hit West with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Scarlett Celio-Mora,
Katie Sanders, and
Griselda Espinoza Marquez.
East Bakersfield's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9-3. As for West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15-2.
East Bakersfield took their victory against West when the teams last played on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. Does East Bakersfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will West turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
