Keys's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Salina Wildcats. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 9-2 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Keys has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Salina, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Coincidentally, Keys and Salina will both be playing Wyandotte the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Bears at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
