Soccer Recap: Mission Hills Victorious

Mission Hills kept a clean sheet against Mt. Carmel on Tuesday. They skirted past the Mt. Carmel Sundevils 1-0. That's two games straight that the Grizzlies have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Savannah Carter, who's now up to four this season.

The win made it two in a row for Mission Hills and bumps their season record up to 11-0-2. As for Mt. Carmel, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mission Hills will take on Del Norte at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mission Hills' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Mt. Carmel, they will face off against Poway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Carmel's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
