Soccer Recap: Alpharetta Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Alpharetta can now relate to. They fell just short of the Norcross Blue Devils by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Alpharetta couldn't quite close it out.

Alpharetta dropped their record down to 5-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Norcross, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That lines up perfectly with their 16-1-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Alpharetta nor Norcross have any future games scheduled.
