Basketball Recap: Torrance Comes Up Short

Torrance lost against Palos Verdes back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Torrance Tartars lost to the Palos Verdes Sea Kings on the road by a 40-24 margin. The match marked the Tartars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Torrance's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Palos Verdes, they pushed their record up to 17-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Torrance does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palos Verdes, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Brentwood School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Brentwood School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
