Benedictine won against St. Michael the Archangel last Thursday with 38 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Cadets didn't even let the Matoaca Warriors on the board, marking the Cadets' second-straight 38-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Cadets sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row dating back to last season.

Benedictine's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Matoaca, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Benedictine will square off against Blue Ridge at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Matoaca, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Louisa County at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
