Softball Recap: Kennesaw Mountain Comes Up Short

Kennesaw Mountain lost against Campbell back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans.

Kennesaw Mountain's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16. Those road losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Campbell, their record now sits at 10-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennesaw Mountain will face off against Rome at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Campbell, they will challenge South Cobb at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
