Soccer Recap: Paso Robles Find Success

Paso Robles got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Righetti Warriors by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Lila Colegrove had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Bearcats got from the refs.

Hannah Bourgault and Taylor Gignoux scored all three of Paso Robles' goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Paso Robles now has a winning record of 6-5-3. As for Righetti, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paso Robles will face off against St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Joseph is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season. As for Righetti, they will challenge Arroyo Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arroyo Grande's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
