Mansfield won the last time they faced Canton and things went their way on Monday too. The Mansfield Tigers managed a 41-35 victory over the Canton Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Canton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendall Kitchen, who posted 14 points and six steals. Kitchen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cailyn Vannoy, who put up eight points and four steals.

Mansfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Canton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Mansfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 42-32 defeat against Athens on the 8th. As for Canton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-27 loss against Northeast Bradford on the 8th.
