Volleyball Recap: Canyon Lake vs. Gregory-Portland Wildcats
Canyon Lake lost against Gregory-Portland back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Canyon Lake fell 2-0 to Gregory-Portland.
Preslie Owens paced Canyon Lake's offense, picking up six kills. Owens got some help from Chloe Gray and her ten assists. Chylea Gray controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Gregory-Portland can attribute much of their success to Sophia Davila, who had ten digs and two aces. What's more, Davila posted four assists, the most she's had over her last 23 games. Janae Castillo was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.
