Falconer came out on top against Ellicottville on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Golden Falcons had just enough and edged out the Eagles 6-4. The win continues a trend for the Golden Falcons in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Falconer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erik Stenstrom, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

The victory got Falconer back to even at 4-4. As for Ellicottville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Falconer beat the Eagles by a score of 8-1 later that day.
