Softball Game Preview: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors vs. LaFayette Ramblers

For the second straight game, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will face off against LaFayette. The Warriors will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Ramblers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They came up short against LaFayette on Friday, falling 10-1. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Ramblers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

For LaFayette's part, they let Harley Perkins and Emma Parker run wild. Perkins went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Parker went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI Parker has posted since back in August of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addi Hogue, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
