Baseball Recap: Winona Comes Up Short

Winona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the East Carter Redbirds, falling 16-1. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Winona's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for East Carter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-11.

Winona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Carter, they will head out to challenge Alton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
