If Ontario was riding high fresh off their 59-23 takedown of Chaffey last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ontario Jaguars came up short against the Chino Cowboys on Wednesday, falling 61-40. The Jaguars' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Chino's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tess Oldenburg, who posted 24 points along with eight rebounds and six blocks. Oldenburg is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last five games she's played. London Gibbs was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten steals.

Ontario's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Chino, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Ontario is taking a road trip to face off against Don Lugo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Ontario's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Don Lugo's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chino, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Diamond Ranch at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Diamond Ranch sitting on four straight wins and Chino on three.
