After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Prospect, Evergreen Valley was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They blew past the Pioneer Mustangs 57-29. The  win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won eight in a row.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Evergreen Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Aastha Bhagat, who  posted 14  points.  Daven Woodham was another key player,  putting up ten points and five  boards.
Evergreen Valley pushed their record up to 17-6 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Pioneer, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five matches,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record  this season.
