After flying high against Temple City on Friday, Arleta came back down to earth. The Arleta Mustangs took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leuzinger Olympians on Saturday.
Arleta lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Justine Mejia, who posted 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Mejia is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Tatiana Hernandez, who had eight points in addition to six assists and three steals.
