Baseball Recap: Brocton Comes Up Short

Brocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Allegany-Limestone Gators. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Brocton's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Allegany-Limestone, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Allegany-Limestone has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Westfield on the 24th. Hopefully Brocton paid attention to the Gators' contest: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Gators at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
