Soccer Recap: Gadsden County Has No Trouble Against Munroe

While Gadsden County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Munroe Bobcats on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gadsden County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five games. As for Munroe, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gadsden County will head out to take on Taylor County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Munroe, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Munroe face off against the Jefferson County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Munroe is facing Jefferson County at the right time seeing as Jefferson County is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
