Sonora has gone 4-0 against Escalon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Sonora take on the Escalon at 3:30 p.m. Sonora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

Sonora will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Friday, then bounced right back against Ripon Christian on Friday. Everything went Sonora's way against Ripon Christian as Sonora made off with a 6-1 win. Estrella Machado was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Escalon had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and Orestimba finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

With that draw, Escalon's record moves to 3-6-5. As for Sonora, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Everything went Sonora's way against Escalon in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Sonora made off with a 5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sonora since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
