Soccer Recap: Eagle Rock Finds Playoff Glory Versus Burton

With a playoff win on the line, Eagle Rock rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Burton Scorpions as they made off with an 11-0 victory. Quinn Powell was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Eagle Rock and bumps their season record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those two matches. As for Burton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Coming up, Eagle Rock will be playing in front of their home fans against USC Hybrid at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. USC Hybrid's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Eagle Rock's offense will have their work cut out for them. Burton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
