Football Recap: Hinton Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Hinton's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past the Tri-Center Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 40-26. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Blackhawks considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Hinton's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.6 points over those games. As for Tri-Center, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Hinton and Tri-Center will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Blackhawks are set to square off against their familiar foe Ridge View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tri-Center will take on rival Underwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
