East Forsyth won the last time they faced Walnut Grove and things went their way on Thursday too. The Broncos won by a set and slipped past the Warriors 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Broncos have posted since September 27th.
Mandy Karavite paced East Forsyth's offense, picking up eight kills. Karavite got some help from Chelsea Torrence and her 16 assists. Karavite was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aubree Smith, who had nine digs and two aces. Smith is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.
East Forsyth is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. As for Walnut Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 27-14.
East Forsyth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against North Oconee on the 9th. Walnut Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
