Basketball Game Preview: Central Valley Falcons vs. West Valley Eagles

Central Valley is 1-9 against West Valley since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Central Valley Falcons take on the West Valley Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Central Valley ended up a good deal behind Yreka and lost 54-37.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 46-41 victory over Lassen on Friday.

West Valley pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.6 points. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Central Valley was dealt a bruising 55-19 loss at the hands of West Valley in their previous meeting back in January. Can Central Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
