Hulbert's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Afton, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Hulbert didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-4 loss against Vian on the 18th. As for Afton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-1 defeat against Grove on the 16th.
