It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Miami had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Valley Christian Trojans 73-40. The Vandals are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 23 straight.

Miami's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Leeyah Goss led the charge by shooting 5-for-6 from long range and dropping a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Those 23 points gave Goss a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamia Pietila, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine assists.

Miami smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Miami pushed their record up to 27-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 48 points. As for Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.
