Football Recap: Welch Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Welch took on Foyil on Friday. The Wildcats lost to the Panthers at home by a 28-12 margin. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Although Welch took the loss, they still got scores from Eric Pitcher and Colton Moss.

Welch now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Foyil, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, Welch will take on Cave Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Foyil, they will host South Coffeyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
