Basketball Recap: Jocelyn Goldstein's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Masterman over Imhotep Charter

Masterman lost against Imhotep Charter back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Masterman lost to the Imhotep Charter Panthers on the road by a 55-36 margin. While losing is never fun, Masterman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Imhotep Charter is ranked 34th).

Masterman lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jocelyn Goldstein, who posted 20 points. The game was her ninth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Simmons, who put up ten points.

Masterman's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Imhotep Charter, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

As of now, neither Masterman nor Imhotep Charter have any future games scheduled.
